About the Artist:

I am an Assistant Fashion and Print Designer currently living in Manhattan. Originally from Massachusetts but have lived longer in North Carolina.  I have traveled to many countries in Europe and to Africa. Studying Fashion Design in Florence, Italy from leading fashion designers in the industry was surreal. Learning fashion illustration from the most respected and known Fashion Illustrator in the world was thrilling and such a good cultural experience since she didn't speak any English. Everything I experienced while I studied abroad keeps inspiring and influencing my designs to this day.

Through school and work I have learned so much about the industry, I can make and sell a final product from picking the cotton to designing to selling the final product.

My passion for promoting body positivity and inclusivity can be seen throughout my portfolio. Someday I hope to see a more inclusive industry where everyone is made to feel confident in their body regardless of size, shape or budget.

I'm known as the jack of all trades.  Picking up new projects or software keeps my brain engaged and adds to my arsenal of design tools. I dabble in everything from renovating my lakehouse to teaching myself how to apply my own acrylic nails. My constant need for excitement and challenge keeps me busy finding new ways to express my creativity.

I strive everyday to be a better version of myself.

Traveling is my biggest passion! Experiencing all the new cultures and places takes my breathe away and inspires me to this day. Eating local cuisine in the most amazing places is a dream.

* 2 months before Notre Dame burned down I

was eating a hot dog on a baguette in front of it*

Perfect view of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, Italy on my walk to class.

I was taught by a fabulous Batik Dyeing teacher, who has been teaching for over 30 years and has won many national awards and recognitions.

I love finding new ways to express my creativity. Trying even the craziest ideas.

Renovating my parents lakehouse that hasn't been renovated since the early 80s has been so much fun and eye opening.  In this picture I'm working on the accent wall in our guest bedroom. To the right is the finished wall.

Tried making a mannequin my size, it didn't work out as planned, but my sister got a lot of enjoyment out of wrapping me in plastic bags and duct tape.
